the people of the Dominican Republic essentially converse in the
Spanish language. In the past several years, however, a Haitian
workforce has crossed the border and has, for all practical purposes,
set up residence in the Dominican Republic. They essentially brought
the French language and their native tongue "Créole"
to their adopted land. As a result, you might may run into these
two languages, as well, albeit sparsely.
Dominicans
are distinguished by genuinely affable character traits, amplified
when trying to converse with them in their native tongue. Hereby
